MEMORANDUM OPINION

WILLIAMS, District Judge.

This action is brought by Plaintiff Robert Briggs (“Plaintiff’ or “Briggs”) to recover benefits under the terms of a Long Term Disability (“LTD”) policy issued by Defendant Liberty Life Assurance Company of Boston (“Liberty”), on behalf of Defendant Marriott International,” Inc. (“Marriott”) (collectively, “Defendants”), pursuant to the civil enforcement provisions of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1332(e). Defendants removed this action from the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland to this Court.…
