—This is an information in the nature of a quo warranto instituted in the circuit court of Platte county in December, 1894, by the prosecuting attorney of that county, upon the relation of Andrew J. Cook, to determine the right and authority of the defendants to exercise the powers and duties of officers of the city of Edgerton, and to determine the validity of the in*566corporation of said city as a city of the fourth class under the laws of this State.
