OPINION ON REMAND

KOEHLER, Justice.

John Dorado appeals from a conviction for the offense of injury to a child. Upon a finding of guilt, the jury assessed punishment at confinement in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for a term of 27 years. On original submission, we reversed the judgment in this cause and remanded to the trial court for a new trial. Dorado v. State, 824 S.W.2d 794, 796 (Tex.App. — El Paso), vacated, 843 S.W.2d 37 (Tex.Crim.App.1992).
