This is a proceeding under the Workmen’s Compensation Law, sections 102-1701 to 102-1785, inclusive, O. C. L. A. The plaintiff appealed to the circuit court from the denial by the defendant, State Industrial Accident Commission, of his claim for compensation for injuries received by him, in respect of which he asserted that he was entitled to compensation under the law. His complaint in the circuit court alleged that, on and previous to March 26, 1947, he was employed by Lane County as a truck driver in hauling gravel for use upon county roads.
