MEMORANDUM OF DECISION
YOUNG, District Judge.
I. INTRODUCTION
The plaintiff, Armanda C. Sousa (“Sousa”), brings this action pursuant to section 205(g) of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. § 405(g), seeking judicial review of the final decision of the Commissioner of Social Security (the “Commissioner”) denying her application for Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits.
