¶ 1 Douglas Schwenk (“Schwenk”) appeals from the judgment of sentence im posed after he was convicted of aggravated assault and resisting arrest. 1 We affirm.

¶ 2 The trial court set forth the facts of the case as follows:

On March 31, 1999, Steven Groman had been a Pennsylvania State Trooper for about seven years. At about 10:00 p.m. that day, he was off-duty and at home with his family when his wife came inside after walking the dog.
