This cause comes to us on a petition to transfer from the Third District Court of Appeals. Following a jury trial in May, 1991, appellant, Alvin Campbell, Jr., was convicted of Count I, burglary, a class A felony, Ind.Code § 35-43-2-1; and Count II, battery, a class C felony, I.C. § 35-42-2-1. The trial court entered a judgment of conviction, and on May 31, 1991, sentenced appellant to thirty years imprisonment as to Count I, and eight years imprisonment as to Count II, to be served concurrently.
