ON PETITION FOR TRANSFER

BOEHM, Justice.

We hold that Indiana Code section 35-41-2-5, prohibiting the use of evidence of voluntary intoxication to negate the mens rea requirement in criminal eases, does not violate the Indiana Constitution.
