The plaintiff seeks to recover damages from the defendant fraternal benefit society for its alleged illegal expulsion of him from his membership in it. The following facts appear in the finding: The plaintiff had been a member of the defendant in good standing since June 1st, 1918, and had been active in its formation and in promoting its interests, giving to it his effort and his money and at various times serving as its president.
