ORDER AND MEMORANDUM OPINION DENYING DEFENDANT’S MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT

HIGHSMITH, District Judge.

In this employment discrimination case, the Court has for consideration Defendant’s motion for summary judgment. For the reasons that follow, Defendant’s motion is denied.

I. SUMMARY JUDGMENT STANDARD

The purpose of summary judgment is to assess the evidence to determine whether there is an actual need for a trial. Mulhall v. Advance Security, Inc., 19 F.3d 586, 590 (11th Cir.1994); see also Fed.R.Civ.P. 56(e) advisory committee’s notes (stating that “[t]he very mission of the summary judgment…
