{¶ 1} Vernon Bellecourt and four other individuals appeal from a directed verdict granted by the common pleas court in connection with their Section 1983, Title 42, U.S.Code action against the city of Cleveland and several police officers. The police officers arrested them for aggravated arson after they burned an effigy of Chief Wahoo outside Jacobs Field at the opening game of the 1998 Cleveland Indians baseball season. On appeal, they assign the following errors for our review.
