The Missouri Pacific Railroad Company-appellee (hereafter referred to as Missouri Pacific or applicant) filed an application with the State Corporation Commission-Appellant (hereafter referred to as the commission) to establish twenty mobile agency routes in Kansas for the purpose of serving customers along its various lines. The effect of the proposed mobile agency routes would be to transfer 110 of Missouri Pacific’s agency stations in Kansas into a service system comprising twenty mobile routes served by twenty mobile agents.
