STATEMENT OF FACTS
WARRINER, District Judge.
Named plaintiffs in the present suit have moved the Court to certify the suit as a class action under Fed.R.Civ.P. 23(bX3). Plaintiffs are fourteen mortgagors1 who assert that, as a condition to obtaining residential mortgage loans, each was required by their prospective mortgagee to make monthly installments to an “escrow account” of Vi2 the estimated annual amount for local tax levys, insurance premiums and other obligations associated with their property.
