This case is before us on certificate by The Judge Advocate General, United States Air Force, pursuant to the provisions of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 67(6) (2), 50 USC § 654. Following a rehearing, Vander-pool was convicted of several offenses —the nature of which is unimportant —growing out of the alleged theft of post exchange cigarettes and their sale to an unauthorized Okinawan National.
