As the D.C. Circuit observed in another case involving the Defendant in this matter, “a large contingency fee in a successful lawsuit sometimes leads to nasty controversy over who gets what.” Steven R. Perles, P.C. v. Kagy, 473 F.3d 1244, 1246 (D.C.Cir.2007). Such continues to be the case with the parties to this dispute.
