Contrary to his pleas, appellant was convicted by officer and enlisted members of involuntary manslaughter, a violation of Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), Article 119, 10 U.S.C. § 912. His sentence of three years confinement, forfeitures of $400.00 pay per month for 36 months, reduction to pay grade E-l, and a dishonorable discharge was approved by the convening authority.
