In *550an action, inter alia, to recover damages for wrongful death, the defendants Sterling Foster & Co., Inc., Adam Lieberman, Vincent Carella, Charles Distefano, Charles Volpe, Robert Pratt, and Joseph Pagliarulo, and the defendants Boardwalk Management Corp. d/b/a The Seaport, Terence Beglane, and Thomas Hangarter separately appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Lama, J.), entered July 8,1996, which denied their respective motions for summary judgment dismissing the complaint insofar as asserted against them.
