ON December 13, 1937, the city council of Denver adopted by a two-thirds vote, the mayor approved, and there now is in full force and effect, ordinances 87 and 88, series of 1937, respectively levying on all taxable property within the city a general tax of 1.409 mills on the dollar, upon the total assessed valuation for the year 1937, and appropriating the proceeds of said levy, amounting to $450,528.52, for the purpose of paying and redeeming special improvement district bonds falling due during the year 1938 and the interest thereon, which have heretofore been issued in the name of the…
