WILKINSON, Circuit Judge:

This case is significant because it concerns crimes of violence committed by multiple assailants where it is unclear which assailant was the principal. We find that the district court properly instructed on aiding and abetting in response to a jury inquiry and we find no denial of the defendant’s right to a unanimous verdict where it is possible that some jurors found him guilty as a principal and some found him guilty as an aider and abettor.
