BAKER, J.
Clarence Eugene Johnson (appellant) appeals from judgments of the Circuit Court of the City of Chesapeake (trial court) which approved jury verdicts convicting him of murder, robbery, and use of a firearm in the commission of those felonies. Appellant asserts that inculpatory statements he made to the police were involuntary and that the trial court erred when it overruled appellant’s motion to suppress the statements.
