This case arises out of an insurance coverage dispute between the plaintiffs, Orthofix Holdings, Inc. andBreg, Inc. (for the purposes of this motion it is unnecessary to distinguish between the plaintiffs who will collectively be referred to as Orthofix) and the defendant, Lexington Insurance Company. Their dispute principally turned on the meaning of the words “occurrence” and “event” as they appeared in two excess insurance policies issued by Lexington to Orthofix.
