Defendant was indicted for the offenses of arson (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1967, ch. 38, par. 20 — 1), attempt (arson) (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1967, ch. 38, par. 8 — 4) and possession of explosives (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1967, ch. 38, par. 20 — 2). He was found guilty by a jury on the charges of attempt (arson) and possession of explosives.
