'The plaintiff in error attempted to serve notice of the time and place of the presentment of the case-made for settlement bj' “delivery to Lena North, a person over fourteen years old, who was at the time clerk ancl stenographer of said Blakeney & Maxey, and who was in and had charge of their office, and leaving with her personally a true and correct copy of said notice for said Blakeney & Maxey.”
