I. Introduction

Pending before the Court is Respondent’s Motion to Dismiss this 28 U.S.C. § 2254 habeas action on statute of limitations grounds. (Docket entry # 12.) Petitioner has filed two Responses (docket entries # 17 and # 27), to which Respondent has' filed a Reply. (Docket entry # 29.) Before addressing the merits of Respondent’s Motion, the Court will briefly review the relevant procedural history of this case.
