1Opinion of the Court

GRUENDER, Circuit Judge.

Broderick Collier was convicted in Arkansas state court of first-degree murder and sentenced to 44 years’ imprisonment. The Arkansas Court of Appeals affirmed the conviction. After the Arkansas Supreme Court denied post-conviction relief, Collier filed a petition for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. The district court 1 denied habeas relief but granted a certificate of appealability. Collier now appeals the denial of the writ, and we affirm.
