Cianbro Corporation instituted this action to extinguish maritime liens recorded by George H. Dean, Inc., a manufacturer and provider of steel products, against two vessels that were in Cianbro’s possession for repair at the time Cianbro commenced this action. Cianbro does not own the vessels in question, but warranted to the third-party owners that it would return the vessels free and clear of any liens, such as maritime liens for necessaries supplied…
