Granting in Part and Denying in Part the Plaintiff’s Motion for Attorney’s Fees & Costs

I. INTRODUCTION

This matter comes before the court on the plaintiffs motion for attorney’s fees and costs in the above-captioned matter. The plaintiff, the parent of a minor child who is entitled to the protections of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (“IDEA”), 20 U.S.C. §§ 1400, et seq., commenced this action seeking $6,003.55 in attorney’s fees that she incurred while prosecuting an administrative claim. 1 The defendants concede that the…
