Plaintiff filed a complaint in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, Maryland on or about June 20, 1985 to recover benefits which defendant allegedly owes her as the beneficiary of an insurance policy. Plaintiff claims, in that pleading, that her spouse was insured by his employer under a group insurance policy, that she was named as beneficiary under that policy, and that defendant has failed to pay plaintiff the appropriate benefits.
