KING, District Judge.

Plaintiff Rick Beaver filed this action in the Oregon Circuit Court for Multnomah County asserting claims under state law for discrimination due to a workplace injury and retaliation for filing a workers’ compensation claim. Defendant NPC International, Inc. dba Pizza Hut-East Side removed the case to federal court based on diversity jurisdiction.
