This is an appeal by John A. Kaye from a judgment of conviction entered in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on trial before Judge Palmieri and a jury, on a verdict of guilty on two counts, the first of violation of 18 U.S.C. § 479 by wilfully uttering with intent to defraud two counterfeit Kingdom of Belgium bonds, the second of conspiracy to violate 18 U.S.C. § 479 by negotiating 244 of the same counterfeit bonds.
