—In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, etc., the defendant Lockformer Company, Inc., and the defendant H. Weiss Company separately appeal, as limited by their respective briefs, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Gammer, J.), dated December 27, 2001, as denied those branches of their respective motions which were for summary judgment dismissing so much of the complaint and cross claims insofar as asserted against them based on defective design.
