The defendant in this ease was charged with practicing medicine and surgery; holding himself forth as a practitioner in medicine and surgery; assuming the title of doctor of medicine and surgery, and diagnosing and treating diseases by the use of medicine and surgery without a license, contrary to the provisions of section 1 of the Act of June 3, 1911, P. L. 639. The evidence showed that the defendant was practicing a system known as chiropractic or chiropractice. Upon his conviction he made a motion for a new trial.
