OPINION

{¶ 1} Plaintiff-appellant Joseph Schmidli appeals the decision of the Belmont County Common Pleas Court, Domestic Relations Division, which entered a custody order over the parties' three-year-old requiring shared parenting with defendant-appellee Veronica Schmidli. The main issue is whether a court can enter a shared parenting order when neither party filed a motion for shared parenting or a shared parenting plan.
