This is an appeal from a judgment against the defendant for conversion of certain personal property. The facts are as follows, so far as necessary to an understanding of the issues raised on appeal: Defendant acquired, by purchase, title to real estate upon which was situated, as part thereof, a hotel building, in which had previously been installed machinery and appliances constituting a refrigerating plant for the hotel.
