MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

GRIMM, United States Magistrate Judge.

Carolyn France (“Claimant”) has filed this appeal from the final decision of the Commissioner of Social Security (the “Commissioner”) denying her application for Supplemental Security Income benefits (“SSI”). She has exhausted her administrative remedies, and review by this Court is appropriate. The parties have consented to proceed before a magistrate judge, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 636(c), Local Rule 301.4. Pending are the cross-motions for summary judgment the parties have filed.
