On the nights of the ninth and tenth of June, 1895, one Charles Cunningham lost by fire a large amount of property in Umatilla and Morrow counties, which was insured in several different companies, the defendant, the Home Mutual Insurance Company, being among the number. Its policy was for $11,825 on three frame buildings and a quantity of hay therein; also, $4,680 on sheep, while contained in a building described in the policy.
