This action was commenced in the district court of Pontotoc county, Okla., by the defendants in error, as plaintiffs, against the plaintiff in error, as defendant. to recovejr damages occasioned by the destruction of .the compress of the Interstate Compress Company, at Oklahoma City, by fire, on March 29, 1921, at which time the plaintiff, Ed J. Coyle-, had stored therein 243 bales of cotton, which was also destroyed.
