MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

CASTILLO, District Judge.

Plaintiff Paul De La Paz, 1 a prisoner of the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC), has sued certain IDOC officers under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 alleging that they violated his constitutional rights during his incarceration at the Joliet Correctional Center (“Joliet”).
