{¶ 1} Defendants-appellants, The Original Sign Studio, Inc. (“Sign Studio”) and Tammy Kornell, 1 appeal from a judgment of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas granting summary judgment to plaintiff-appellee, Tubelite Company, Inc. For the following reasons, we reverse and remand.

{¶ 2} Sign Studio designs, manufactures, and installs interior and exterior signs. Tubelite began supplying materials to Sign Studio in the early 1990s. In October 2003, Kornell, the president of Sign Studio, completed, signed, and delivered an “Application for Credit” to Tubelite. The application…
