REQUESTED BY: Senator George Coordsen Nebraska State Legislature You have requested our opinion regarding whether LB 600, which would change the manner in which the value of agricultural and horticultural land is determined for property tax purposes, is consistent with the authority granted the Legislature to provide for the classification and taxation of agricultural and horticultural land under Neb.
