Ownership of the coal and minerals in and under a certain 100 acres of land in Floyd county, Kentucky, is in issue herein. Appellees instituted the action to quiet their title, and appellant by counterclaim sought the same relief. The parties trace their title to a common source. William Bradley, through whom both parties claim, appears to have owned a large tract of land in Floyd county; and appellant claims title to the coal and minerals under a deed from him to Walter S.
