OPINION

Frederick, J.

Claimant, Enrico Levy, a prisoner with the Illinois Department of Corrections, filed his original complaint on February 24, 1992. In that complaint, Claimant sought $3,200 for lost property due to Respondents agents negligence and for his emotional distress. The complaint cites an original claim number of 90-CC-0855. Claimant filed an amended complaint on March 17, 1992, seeking $100,000 in damages for being negligently shot by Correctional Officer Adams. The case was tried before one of the Courts Commissioners.
