RE, Chief Judge:

Plaintiff-appellant, Harilaos Kukias (Ku-kias) appeals from a judgment of the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, which dismissed his claim for failure to state a cause of action under the Jones Act, and under the general maritime law of the United States. Kukias, a Greek seaman, sought to recover damages for personal injuries sustained while employed aboard the cruise ship “M/V The Victoria” (Victoria).
