Claimant, Helen B. Maloney, has filed a claim against respondent for personal injuries sustained on August 28, 1955.

On said date, Mrs. Maloney and her sister-in-law went to the Alton State Hospital, a mental institution, to visit her husband, who had been a patient there for more than one month. It was customary for relatives to visit patients, who were not violent or dangerous, or in a, disturbed state, in a room designated as R. C. M., which was used as a dining room.
