Following a bench trial, defendant, David Meeks, was convicted of possession of a stolen motor vehicle and possession of burglary tools (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1985, ch. 951/2, par. 4 — 103(a)(1); ch. 38, par. 19 — 2(a), respectively), and was sentenced to a concurrent term of 12 years.
