¶ 1. On February 24, 2000, E. Harold Knight (Harold) filed a complaint in the Jackson County Chancery Court against Benny R. Knight and Knights’ Piping Inc. (KPI). Harold’s complaint requested a judicial dissolution of KPI, an appoint*454ment of a receiver/custodian for KPI, and a partition of certain real property.
