This ease concerns the constitutionality of the post-judgment garnishment procedure of Rhode Island. It raises the question whether Rhode Island law provides adequate notice to a judgment debtor whose property is attached of any right he may have under state or federal law to have his property exempted from attachment, and of the means for claiming such exemption, and whether Rhode Island affords an adequate opportunity for a prompt hearing at which the question of exemption can be determined.
