On and previous to the 15th of April, 1850, Richard Hayward was the owner in fee simple of a lot .of ground in the ©ity of Tallahassee, -at which time ho was a man of large means, entirely solvent, and abundantly able to make the conveyance next mentioned, without affecting his solvency ©r impairing the claim of any creditor, a.nd on that day he executed a writing in the form of a deed, without witnesses, purporting to convey to Robert S.
