Plaintiffs-Appellants Robert Devlin, Andrew Hagan, Thomas Hewson, Steven Mi-lone, and Frederick Rinckwitz are retired members or former officers of Defendant-Appellee Transportation Communications International Union (the “Union” or “TCU”). Appellants brought suit individually and on behalf of a purported class of other retired members in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (John F.
