The defendant in error, Brady, as plaintiff, sued in the district court of Muskogee county for personal injuries and obtained a verdict and judgment. The facts out of which the suit arose are substantially as follows: The plaintiffs in error, defendants below, were partners engaged in drilling oil wells under contracts with the owners 'of oil leases. While so- engaged in drilling a well Brady was injured. It takes two men to operate a drill; in the oil fields four are assigned to each well and they work in two shifts (called towers) of two men each. These two men are…
